Re: Acanthus hungaricus


Can't locate the original query here..inbox is a shambles...however,
my clump is about 3' in diameter and growing in what passes for full
sun here - south facing.  This one likes as much sun as you can give
it, it's A. mollis who does better in part shade.

My clump is about 10 years old and I keep it from smothering all
adjacent plants with a wire girdle - would flow out to around 5' in
diameter if I let it go.  Lovely plants..mine is starting to bud
right now...highly recommended!
