Don't remember "curved willow" posts. Would it be the Salix tomentosa, or
one of the other fan tail willows, sheeps horn willow or a shrub. The
variegated shrub willow Hakuro Nishiki has been discussed here quite a lot.
This one is still very popular and not a low cost plant yet.

S. Tomentosa is a tree with curled branches and foliage which is cut and sold
in the spring along with the pussy willows. (Lots of kinds of pussy willows)

Willows are easy and the above all give you garden stakes that are better
looking than bamboo and also cheaper.
