I have found this very effective in transplanting things--at
first I worried they would cook inside a flower pot, but that has never
happened and after a few days inside the shade, they seem like they've never
been moved. I also use the plastic flats with meshlike bottoms that come
from nurseries as things to build little shade enclosures with. You can
make all kinds of shapes with the flats and string or other fastening. If
plants are small enough you can cover them with the flats too.
I wonder if other people have "tips" on things like this they'd like to
share? I'd love to read them. Judy Warner
