RE: bottle trees

Um, just out of curiosity........after you get the marbles all glued on an
old (I assume) bowling ball - what do you do with it?

  Yup--same person.

Yours sounds great--I might have to try one in the shade. Mine's in full
sun most of the day and catches sunset.

Latest project--gluing marbles on bowling balls. Boy, do they ever light up
when the sun catches them just right! Use the new Silicon II caulk from
GE--one tube covers one bowling ball, and 8 bags of marbles from your local
craft store (Michaels has them at about $1/bag).

With this year's drought, my glass may be the only color I have come
September...

You are, I think, the same Karen who wrote on bottle trees?

If so you would find one now in the shade garden sitting amongst the hostas

looking like one giant Delphinium. When the sun touches it early in the am,

it is an artsy looking thing out there in hostas and shrubs.

My husband said, nothing to it, and collected lots of blue bottles from the

landfill. They saved him all sizes and he drew a plan, made a form and it
ended up a bottle tree. With all the garden art around this year, ours is
most orginal looking.

If it really will take all the bad spirits from my farm, doubly good idea.
