This is a great solution for doing in plants that pop up in cracks in the sidewalk or pavement. It also works on weeds in lawn, but in our garden, grass is a weed.
This spring, I doused the grass that comes up in cracks in the concrete walk, and it died off quickly. Some of it grew back again, but I found it much easier to pull out -- because of weakened roots, perhaps? (Thanks to Ciscoe Morris for this tip!)
