I had to start the water pump yesterday and water a few things in the sun
(its been 90'sh the last week), we have been very wet too this spring, with
flooding in many parts of Minnesota. Wet and hot the last week or so, Two of
the Hosta developed stem rot but most of the other perennials are doing
well-except were this years woodchuck has been (gall darn pesky creatures).
The Daylilies look very large this year-so they have loved all the rain and
it looks to be a very good year for them, I am excited about all the new ones
I got last year and expect it to be a good year in regard to daylily sales.
I am still behind about 10 days in work and it looks like I will not get
caught up until after mid July. The Violas and the Nepeta have been blooming
and blooming-have to say that they are worth the space they occupy.
