Well, Denise, most Euphorbia spread via seed, so the key to control
would be mowing it down before it has a chance to set seed- and to be
safe before it has a chance to even flower. If you keep it mowed for
a season or so, should do it in tho' how long the seedbank in the
soil remains, I have no clue. You can kill most any plant if you
simply don't let it grow and photosynthesize long enough to make it
use up any energy its stored in the roots or rhizomes.
Most euphorbs have exploding seed pods..when they open, it's with
force that shoots the seeds over a fair distance. I have yet to be
able to catch seed of my plants; one day it isn't ripe and the next
day it's gone.
