Hmmm!Japanese Parsley

Someone gave me some "Japanese Parsley" late last summer. Planted some in shade,(doing very well) some in a semi sun area(much sparser). I have no idea what the botanical name is. Leaves are pretty though. BUT, I spent several hours today weeding and found a whole bunch of these littles guys all over the garden. Do I have a thug? Or should I just make sure it doesn't seed. I don't even remember any flowers last year.
