Hi Cheryl, Do you mean that the flowers were smaller, or the plants were smaller?
the flowers were smaller - roughly the size of a quarter to a 50 cent piece.
This looks closest to what I saw along the road. It had a lovely lace effect and just looked pretty. Certainly better than road signs and concrete barriers.Cicuta maculata (water hemlock) [2]?
