Good morning,
Thank you for the sites to visit Theresa.

We are approx. 3 & 1/2 to 4 hours from Niagara Falls.
According to the weatherman, we had a record 91.2 cm
of rainfall over the holiday weekend which I believe
converts to 35.9 in. We truly had a torrential downpour!
Much flooding of fields and streams, a few minor roads
partially washed away and were blocked due to flooding.
One of the nicest gardens around, 'Kepplecroft', looked
as if they had water-lilies not tulips as the water was just
a few in. from the bottom of the flowers. I am sure a
considerable amount of top soil was washed away too.

Thanks to Marge Talte for the list of all of the
possibilities to consider. And I will
We are going away for a few days (Sun) but I will
take a pic. of the wall and the view from the road to send to
the group for perusal, when we return home.

Cheryl, thanks for the suggestion of sedums.
I had thought of Campanulas so have been propagating
them to use. I think I have about 10 or so of 5 varieties.
Perhaps more, as they are one of my passions.

Thanks to all again,

Ronnalee in bright and sunny Wiarton (high of 19 today
and low of 7 tonight.)
