Re: Wasting Roundup


Poison ivy is the reason I use Roundup. I don't use it on anything else. However, it does not eradicate the urushiol (active ingredient of poison ivy) in the roots, so if you go digging where there was poison ivy, you can still get it. Big time.

No more than you would be using if you sprayed the plant out in the
open. I'm pretty generous with Roundup once I get it mixed up and in
the sprayer. You might use less if you were painting individual leaves,
I guess.

Roundup only seems expensive, until I had to pay for the doctor's visit
after the last time I got poison ivy...
