I suspect it was a contaminant in the wildflower mix. Actually, it's not that un-pretty in its own way and since the area in which it is growing is next to the commercial property in the industrial area which I mentioned a few weeks back, I think I'll let it be. The leaves are distinct enough that I can easily remove unwanted seedlings.
