Hi, Gene, why do you not try one in a mixed planter? I find mine do so much better without competing with the trees for the moisture. Then if you really are going to dispose of the Sunspot then one needs to come to Tennessee. Has anyone tried Stoplight?

I have had sunspot for a few years now.... you can have the ones I have here. I will dig them out at some point in the near future. I personally do not care for them. Bleach out come summer and the red does fade out. They also have had no vigor to them growth wise. Perhaps others have had better experience, but I am disappointed in many of the new hybrids. They do not perform well and do not last long in the garden for the most part.

me...does anyone know which of the yellow-leaved Heucherella ('Sunspot' is one)
doesn't fade in summer? Nice red splotches on the leaves. Any special
cultivation for them? And the frosty-foliaged Brunneras are nice.
