Here's a portion of an email from a nursery regarding hosta and the HVX:
<<we don't have Gold Standard. The last few batches of starts we
brought in were also infected with HVX, but we found it before selling
any and destroyed them all. For now I do not recommend growing Gold
Standard. Even the most reliable nurseries are having trouble getting
clean batches and some in the industry are considering a moratorium on
growing any more Gold Standard, Golden Tiara, and So Sweet until these
plants can be sorted out and new, clean batches started.>>
Are there any hosta that seem impervious to the virus?
