Wow! I haven't seen any mail to the Perennials List in so long I thought it was gone! Gee how is everyone? Weather here in Oregon has just sucked compared to normal. Much colder then the norm and a late start to Spring and Summer for our lovely Zone 8 here in Eugene. Since I hate winter I may have to find a milder climate if this keeps up......but where would I find a more beautiful place?
Dee PS...sure looks like a Lilac at the leaf.----- Original Message ----- From: "Don Martinson" <LLmen@wi.rr.com>

A colleague brought in a piece of the plant shown in the link below, saying she received it as a 3butterfly bush2.Pretty obviously not a Buddleia, and pretty likely a lilac (Syringia sp) ofsome sort.Anyone wish to hazard a guess as to the species or cultivar - I realize thisphoto doesn9t give much to go on. The only other information is that the shrub is about 3-4 ft tall. http://tinyurl.com/6ce3kl Thanks, Don Martinson Milwaukee, Wisconsin Mailto:llmen@wi.rr.com --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with themessage text UNSUBSCRIBE PERENNIALS
