I just bought some Carex platyphylla (broad leaf silver sedge) and it does  
have the glaucous bluey color but not as pronounced as I had hoped...more  
gray/green with a hint of blue. I'm hoping it will play well off of Brunnera  
'Jack Frost'. 
 
Which Carex did you buy?
