It is as blue as the pictures on that website listed earlier. I have pictures of mine but with the shadows it does not show all the color. I use it as a groundcover with tall ferns, rocks, and other wildflowers. It grows without a lot of extra moisture and with more filtered sunlight than I had given my first plant. It will overpower Asarums so I keep it pinched back from the walkways and the smaller plants. Nancy Tennessee zone 6b
