Nancy,That bothers me too. I use Outlook Express at home. When Chris' picture came through, it was too big for the reading pane which would require the scrolling around you describe. However, if I click on the attachment icon and then again on the file name, the photo opens in my Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. I know we all have different systems, platforms, and programs, but perhaps you have something available on your computer that would do the same.
Chris' photo was only 162kb, so if someone sends something as big as the 1mb limit, I'd think you'd have to do some scrolling! Hopefully you have a program that will make viewing easier.

Hope the pictures are small email size. Makes me dizzy to have to work the large picture all over the screen to see the flower.Nancy----- Original Message ----- From: "Christopher P. When we set these lists up in 1997 (holy cow!) peoples' Internet connections were a lot slower, so we put that restriction in place. If people want to share photos now I'm cool with that and can make it work through the list. :) Chris --------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with the message text UNSUBSCRIBE PERENNIALS--------------------------------------------------------------------- To sign-off this list, send email to majordomo@hort.net with themessage text UNSUBSCRIBE PERENNIALS
