I have two very similar types, P Taki No Yosooi and P Coral & Gold.
This year they faded quickly, but wouldn't you in 97 degrees?
We set a record; it's never that hot at that time.
Normally they last a fairly long time but his year they last, at most 5 days.

Sorry for the late reply, but does your Coral and Gold tend to fade out as
quickly as does my Pink Hawaiian Coral? My Scarlett O'Hara does the same
thing.

I've had Coral & Gold for many years. Rugged & beautiful. It blooms after my 2 Japanese species, my P rockii, and the fernleaf peoney. Just a little
after my tree peony.
