Controlling Voles

I have tried one (I forget the brand) for voles and moles to no effect--
still tunnels everywhere in the garden, including around it. Audio speakers
in the garden (such as used at theme parks) are also supposed to help--
again no luck in my garden. I use spring traps, by the holes, under inverted
pots, baited with peanut butter for best luck.
