Re:Aster Yellows


Gerry,

I don't have any experience with the yellows virus infecting hardy asters. The
virus is usually found on annual asters and marigolds and spread by various
insects.

My hardy asters did the same this year with the new growth being stunted. This
was due to some type of insect damage. Once I sprayed the plants they grew out
of the problem. Had same problem with P. paniculata.
