A pairing (really a trio) that I am looking at and enjoying right now is
not planned, but like Topsy, "just grew". Nice lemony yellow German
iris, blue Centaura montana, and the irrepressable Shasta daisies. How
they happened to come together at the half shaded back of the yard is a
mystery - well, maybe not the daisies. What I also appreciate is their
hardiness, a valuable asset here in USDA Zone 4 (3 - I swear some
winters) with very hot summers of SE Wisconsin.
