The Gardener's Guide to Growing Hardy Geraniums says to "cut the whole
plant to the ground when the flowers are past their best.  It will grow
and bloom again."

If you are really interested in geraniums, check out the IGS site
below.  We even have an e-mail list about the geranium family (monsonia,
erodiums, geraniums, and pelargoniums).  The website has a resource
