Heucheras, breed specifically for foliage in winter are now avaible in
the US. Here are some new cults
'Chocolate Ruffles' has corrugated, brown leaves up to 5 in across, with
purple undersides, which are visble around the edges
'Persian Carpet' has leaves up to 8 in across, scalloped in dark maroon
with pewter markings and a sturdy consitution able to withstand the
winter.
'Tiger Strip'e has bronze leaves with darker splashes and starry beige
flowers from Junt to Oct.
