Diane:
Obedient plant is one of the most invasive perennials
I have ever grown in my garden. My advice is:
- plant it in a spot where it has lots of room to spread,
- and/or plant it in the shade to slow its spread,
- or, plant it in a 2 or 3 gallon pot sunk into the garden
to contain its spread (cut the bottom out of the pot for
good drainage).
Obedient plant is very vigourous, no need to cut it back
when you plant it. Just plant it and let it do its thing.
