I get a message saying any message I've sent was rejected for whatever
reason. My email sometimes goes out as kasandra@cris.com and sometimes as
kasandra@concentric.net at my IP's whim. On lists where only one email
address is allowed per real name and where only members can post I get about
a fifty percent reject rate and I also get a message saying the message
wasn't posted. If the list is important to me I try reposting a few times.
Otherwise I usually just drop from the list.
Anyway, the point of my response is that the poster may or may not be a
member of the list depending on whether he/she/it got a reject notice.
