Re: Nursery catalogs
I have ordered from Milaegers, Busses Gardens, Shady Oaks Nursery and
Bluestone Perennials. None have web sites or e-mail addys. The first two
have a broad range of perennials with Milaegers having good selection of
things like aconitum - 8 var., Anemones - 11 var., asilbes - 17 var.,
campanulas - 14 var., ferns - 18 var., geraniums - 29 var. etc. Busse
also has a wide range of perennials with extra selections of achillea,
asters, astilbes, campanulas, clematis, geraniums, grasses,
hemerocallis, hostas, heucheras, siberian iris and much more. Shady Oaks
being true to the shady part of their name has an outstanding selection
of shade loving plants. A huge list of hostas, many heucheras and
grasses. Some sun loving meadow plants. Lots of variety. Bluestone sells
mostly plants grown from seed. A very economical way to get lots of
delphiniums, asters, dianthus, sedums for mass plantings. Most prices
run at 3 for $7.75 to $8.50.
