If any of you recall, I started this "mystery plant" thread because I
found one among my shasta daisies. That began the story of the
traveling shasta daisies. Well, the mystery is solved (I think). It
looks like my mystery plant is a gloxinia. Naturally, it is behind
the stokesia which, at this point, is twice as tall. I may have to
start my gloxinias on a tour of the garden. ( did I mention that
another one popped up somewhere else in the garden.) I can't imagine
where it came from. None of my neighbors have any flowers at all!!
It is very comforting to know that even the pros have mystery plants.
