There is a product called TECNU which is a cleanser that washes
urushiol, the non-volatile oily irritant that causes the allergic skin
reaction, off the skin up to six hours after exposure. It can stop an
outbreak in its tracks when it first appears. Tecnu is available at most
pharmacies including Walmart - cost last time I checked was about $4.40
per four fluid ounces.
