Um, Marilyn, I think Wyoming is an old variety.  According to the Old House
Gardens catalog, the Wyoming Canna was introduced in 1906, "apparently the
last survivor of the life's work of Pennsylvania canna-master Leon Wintzer,
it's an enduring, all-American heirloom."  We recently planted one.  Best,
