I have an old Mantis that used to drive me crazy trying to start it. Now, I
take off the air cleaner, pour in a capful of gas, replace the filter and
presto! it usually starts right up. A good spray of starter fluid sometimes
works too. It can be frustrating, can't it? It's worth the trouble,
though; what a great little tool!
