The Ph & mineral content of your soil will effect the intensity & red or blue
col,oring in the flowers. I added wood ash, & the blue hues were intensified &
breath-taking. Something like this might explain the differences in color in
Niobe, (cherry red to burgundy) being experienced in various gardens.
