Re: cuttings


Jeanne --you can stop calling yourself an airhead...we've all learned by
asking, so don't be afraid to ask.  There's an entire listserve devoted to
propagating plants and many of the perennials folks subscribe to that as
well.  It's called SEEDS and can be subscribed to off the mallorn.com web
page (www.mallorn.com).  The question you have asked is a huge one and I
suggest you go to the SEEDS archive and start looking through it to see
what people are saying about propagating particular plants.  I suggest you
do a search for the plants you have to see if any of those are addressed,
and you can start your learning process with what you already own.  There
are also several good books on propagation and several websites that
address it.  Of course, it's always best if you can get someone to show you
how to make cuttings, etc.
