RE: Thanks for the Feedback

eh perfecto Marie!!! <G> Thanks. Now, let's have those
questions again, ok?

I do just want to say in response to your last note about
feeling insecure and just plonking things in ... you know, that
isn't such a terrible thing; just plonking things in, I mean.
So what if the heights vary? There is absolutely nothing that
says you must have a neat little ranking from tall to short. If
you can't see it, then it needs to be moved, but if there is an
odd mix of colors & heights - if you like it, it's wonderful.

How about ... would you mind trying to explain what
sort of garden you envision? Sometimes I think people get
pretty worked up about making a garden look like something in a
magazine they saw or something and get upset when it doesn't.

Gardens reflect our personalities. To me, they are all about
learning: what you like & don't like, how much effort certain
things take & how much you are willing to put into it and so on.
I've been gardening for more years than I care to consider and I
still experiment all the time. Sometimes I look out there and
absolutely HATE what I'm seeing. Other times, I am smitten with
what I've created. I move things around constantly.

Sometimes I get pretty casual about moving things. I did just
recently. Right before I left on a business trip. Big mistake.
Killed my 5 year old polyanthus 'the fairy'. I got upset with
myself, made a few new resolutions and ripped it out. It
happens.

What I'm trying to say is, relax and enjoy it more, fret over
what's "right" less.
