You were wondering what a Canary Vine is -- I was reading an article from the
New York Times (May 31,1998) by Cass Peterson about Annual vines. She
described a "Canary Bird Vine" that is a "member of the nasturtium family that
produces copious small yellow flowers on delicate vines. The flowers look
like tiny canaries in flight, and the vines will grow to 12'. It's a fast
grower, and climbs by twisting a leaf stem around whatever support it is
given." Could this be what you have?
