One of the prettiest blue pincushion is
"Butterfly Blue." Mine has not stopped
blooming since April.

Scabiosa, pincushion flower, is one of the nicest
blues I
have in my garden. It thrives in a setting that
is mostly
sun, with some afternoon shade from a nearby
willow tree.
Most of the pictures I have seen of Scabiosa are
almost
purple, but the plants I have growing in my
garden are a
delightful light blue and they bloom like crazy
(with
regular deadheading) all summer long.
And of course, Delphiniums. I just love them.
I have one
Delph that is a lot shorter than usual (only
about 1 1/2
feet tall) and such a pretty, clear blue. I
misplaced the
label though, so am not sure of the name
anymore.
I do love blue flowers!!!
