Yes, Linda, there are "domestic versions " of mullein...I love this plant and
have the large "wild" type blooming right now. If you really look at this
flowers you will realize how pretty they are. I also have a purple variety.
Country Living Gardner or Herb Companion had a great article on Mullein's last
year, but I'll be darned if I can find the magazine!
