Pat, I envy you! You should try to move as much as your car can hold! We moved
this past January, (when the ground was frozen solid), and I am still pining
for "my" plants! I asked the new owners if I can take some pieces when I go
back to visit, and they agreed, but according to my old neighbors the garden
is going to pot! I left perennials that came from my parents home, snowdrops
from my grandmother and a 3 year old peony border that I hear was spectacular
this year! It has been fun starting over, but for old times sake, I wish I had
my "friends" and old stand-bys here! Why don't you try potting some cuttings
up in early fall so you can make sure they have a good start? Best of luck!
