Hello, I've just joined this list and by way of introduction, I am a relatively
new gardener...I started my own garden just over a year ago, but I am
learning quickly, especially with help from the internet. I am in the
Detroit area, zone 6b, and in my real life, I work as an engineer for Ford.
I have a question regarding Gaura. I love this plant and think the flowers
are so beautiful but am wondering if I could grow it. I don't really have
an area in my yard that is full sun. The most it would get is maybe 4-6 hrs.
Is this not enough? Also, I know that it gets up to 6-7 feet tall...is there
a shorter variety? Thanks for any response...I am looking forward to learning
more from all of you!
