I don't think I'm experienced enough to have secrets yet....
But I don't OD much for my dianthus-- water every few days, feed once a
month or so, deadhead when I think about it, usually when the entire
plant looks shabby. I cut them way back in the fall (October), rip out
old foliage, and pile mulch around them for a winter blanket. They
thrive. Am I just lucky>>

Can someone tell me what zone I am in? I am 10 miles south of Portland,
in the Willamette Valley.
