I, too, planted White Knight Shasta Daisies. Mine are up and blooming
and yes, they do get some shade. I have them in a bed which is under large
oak trees. The limbs have been trimmed high to let in more light, however,
they do get quite a bit of shade. So far I have not had to stake them,
although this is their first year. I grew them from seed. Mine are only
about a foot tall so far and the stems are quite stocky. Very beautiful.
