I just read a bit more about gaura. Evidently, you can pinch back the flower
stems to keep them shorter and they will rebloom. I ought to have figured that
out as I found a caterpiller had "beheaded" mine prematurely, yet they are
coming back just fine. So, if you don't like the height, pinch away!
