soap&mouthwash spray

This is no great scientific recipe, it comes from what I could remember
from a tv show. I have a sprayer about 1.5 litres, and I put a squirt of
dishsoap and a tablespoon of mouthwash (I have Scope), fill up with water
and spray all over any critters. I think the alcohol in the mouthwash has
something to do with it, but I don't want to waste any Glenmorangie. It
seems to work, has got rid of green catterpillars on my roses in one shot,
bigger green caterpillars on columbine, and other pests as well.
