Egads! You've described my potentilla! Mine has blood-red blooms and
looks like an overgrown wild strawberry (the weed) with really long stems.
What's up with that? I thought I was going to get something shrubby, too.
The leaves are nice, however. Has a white picotee around the leaves. Just
not much of them.
