I have six rather newly planted peonies, and the first to bloom is a "Raspberry Sundae" herbacious one. It is a gorgeous bloom, and I am hooked. But all the pictures of this variety show it as a rather brilliant pink, and my bloom is almost pure white. Does the local soil composition affect color to that extent? I still think this is the most miraculous flower I have ever seen - just wondering about the color. Anelle, N.
