There are herbaceous varieties of Potentilla..... Miss Wilmont (flowers a
bright red with a peach blush here) comes to mind and of course the wild
yellow creeping types. Both called potentilla but not the same sort of plant
at all. The Shrubby (to 3 or 4 feet tall) Yellow and the creeping yellow mat
type are both native in this state. Love them both!
