I also get a lot of mushrooms in shredded bark composted areas, and not so
many in areas where I have used a lot of mushroom compost, oddly. The
mushroom farmers don't sell the compost until they've exhausted it as I
understand. But I also get mushrooms in selected spots in the lawn whenever
mushrooms are prevalent in the beds too.
I envy the rain. Here in Cincinnati we are down 4-6" from normal for the
year already, most of the lack in the past two months.
