Doreen-
Sweltering-----YES!!!! It gets really hot every year except this year we
really didn't get a Spring---we went from Fall to a tease of Winter to
Summer. I now work in my yard in my swimsuit -----well only my backyard, I
don't think my neighbors want to see me bending over to weed in my swimsuit
(maybe 15 years ago).
Sometimes I wish I lived in a place that provided all four seasons--I think
gardening would be so much easier in maybe zone 7....but as I've seen
mentioned on this list before, we always want a zone we don't have (the grass
is always greener).
Anyway - enjoy your gardening and I'll be talking with you again.
