Good info. Bill. I didn't even think of squirrels or 'coons. Believe it or
not (I'm sure some will be saying, Yeah! Right!!), but I have yet to see a
squirrel, 'coon, or 'possum in my yard and I've lived in this house for 7
1/2 years. I have seen rats, but none of the above mentioned have ever
shown their little faces in my neck 'o the woods. Perhaps it's because of
Shelby (my wonderful dog). I dunno. But even with my bird feeders, the
only other culprit I've ever seen is a rabbit (and it doesn't even bother my
perennials! It just helps me with the "weeds" under my bird feeder!)

But speaking of galvinized, how does it stand up to your decomposition,
Bill. Will the galvinization affect any part of your compost? I've been
reluctant to use any galvanized steel specifically for the "chemical
treatment" reasons. Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
