More rain on your parade
Hello Jeanie
Just had to let you know that I also felt like celebrating when my shasta
daisy began to bloom this year. The dwarf shasta (which I grew form seed
in 98-are not blooming as yet) I had no idea that it was so easy to grow
shasta from seed--I think every seed germinated. Early this spring I
started a new batch and will soon set them out in a row in my veg. garden
(as soon as we harvest the onions and space becomes available) I sure
hope one of our perennial savvy friends come up with the answer to your
mystery plant. Maybe they will also know the variety of salvia that I
grow and which is now coming into bloom. The leaves are a dark SHINY
green, long and lance shaped and the bloom is blue/purple.
Happy gardening
Dee Ann in s.w. Indiana
